Dr. Xu is a steroid hormone researcher specializing in basic and clinical studies on the effects of steroid hormones on metabolic health. As the COBRE-SPM administrative director, Dr. Xu liaises between the Executive Committee, Advisory Committee, Sex-Based Precision Medicine Research Core, Enrichment Program, Research Project Leaders, and Pilot Project Leaders, manages the Center’s budget and website, and assists with the organization of center-wide scientific and career development activities such as the SPM curriculum, seminar series, workshops, and annual symposium.
