Dr. Yilin Yoshida Won an ADA Professional Interest Group Early Career Abstract Award

Congratulations to Dr. Yilin Yoshida for being awarded the American Diabetes Association's (ADA) Professional Interest Group Early Career Abstract Award in the Public Health & Epidemiology category for her outstanding abstract titled "Sex Differences in Metabolomics and Risk of Coronary Heart Disease in Type 2 Diabetes." Her research, which compared circulating metabolites and their associations with coronary heart disease (CHD) in men and women across various glycemic statuses, has provided valuable insights into the sex-specific metabolic risks and their implications for CHD in type 2 diabetes patients.

ADA's Professional Interest Groups recognize early career abstract presenters at ADA's 84th Scientific Sessions. Awards were awarded to members with exceptional abstracts according to each group's related abstract categories. The goal of these awards is to recognize ADA members who are early in their careers and are presenting outstanding research at this year's annual meeting.
